About Shape Rush

Shape Rush is a fast rhythm platformer: you guide an auto-moving square through spike-filled courses by jumping, flying, or flipping at the right beat. There are no checkpoints and no mid-run revive. One collision with a spike, wall, or ceiling sends you back to the start, so the only finish is a clean run from the first trap to the end zone.

Six courses raise the bar in order: Dream Dash (Easy), Back On Track 2.0 and Dry Out 2.0 (Normal), Base After Base 2.0 (Hard), then Reapers and Club Madness (Harder). Each stage brings its own layout, trap patterns, music, and pace. Play is single-player Normal mode only—no practice mode and no checkpoint placement.

Portals, Forms, and Timing

The shape never stops. You react in time with the track, dodging hazards until the finish. Portals along the course change your form—such as Ship or Ball—and swap the physics you have to read. Adapt your timing the moment the form changes, or the next spike ends the attempt.

Later levels speed up and pack denser patterns. Reapers and Club Madness in particular expect repeated crashes while you learn the sequence. Retry, note the mistake, and push a little farther until the whole course is cleared in one run.

One Run, All Six Courses

Precision, timing, and patience carry you through every level. Stay locked on the beat, treat every portal as a new control scheme, and only call a course done when you reach the end zone without a single hit.

Key Features

  • Fast rhythm platformer built around an auto-moving square
  • Jump, fly, and flip to dodge spikes, walls, and sharp ceilings
  • Instant restart on any collision—no checkpoints or mid-run revive
  • Six courses: Dream Dash, Back On Track 2.0, Dry Out 2.0, Base After Base 2.0, Reapers, and Club Madness
  • Unique layouts, trap patterns, music, and difficulty on every level
  • Portals that shift your form (such as Ship or Ball) and change physics
  • Single-player Normal mode only—no practice mode
  • Later stages demand sharper timing as pace and patterns intensify
  • One clean run from start to end zone completes a course
  • Runs entirely in the browser with no download required

Strategy & Tips

  • Sync jumps, flights, and flips to the beat—late reactions collide instantly.
  • Treat every spike, wall, and ceiling as a full restart; there is no checkpoint to fall back on.
  • After a portal, relearn the new form (Ship, Ball, or another shape) before the next trap cluster.
  • Clear Dream Dash first so timing habits transfer to Normal courses.
  • Expect repeated fails on Reapers and Club Madness—learn one pattern per retry.
  • Stay calm after a wipeout; the shape always returns to the start, so short retries teach faster.
  • Look one hazard ahead; the auto-scroll never pauses for you.
  • Finish a course only with a single uninterrupted run to the end zone.

FAQ

What is Shape Rush?

Shape Rush is a rhythm platformer where an auto-moving square must reach the end zone without touching spikes, walls, or other hazards. One crash restarts the whole course.

How do I control the shape?

Jump, fly, or flip at the right moment to dodge traps. The shape moves forward on its own—you only control the timing of those actions.

What do portals do?

Passing through a portal changes your form, such as Ship or Ball, and swaps the physics you must adapt to before the next obstacles.

How many levels are there?

Six: Dream Dash (Easy), Back On Track 2.0 and Dry Out 2.0 (Normal), Base After Base 2.0 (Hard), plus Reapers and Club Madness (Harder). There is no practice mode or checkpoint option.

What happens if I crash?

The run ends immediately and you restart from the beginning of that course. There is no revive.

Is Shape Rush free to play?

Yes. You can play Shape Rush free online in your browser on Soflo Wheelie Life—no install required.
