What is Five Nights at Epsteins?
Five Nights at Epsteins is a challenging survival horror game where you must survive through the night while managing multiple threats. Each hour lasts only 30 seconds, and you have just 0.5 seconds to react when the main antagonist appears at your window. The game features a camera monitoring system, audio lure mechanics, and requires managing several enemies simultaneously.
How do I play?
Monitor security cameras to track enemy movements across different locations. When Epstein appears at the window, press the E key immediately (within 0.5 seconds) to scare him away. Use camera audio to lure enemies away from your position. Close vents when you hear banging sounds, then reopen them after the banging stops. Regularly electrocute Stephen Hawking at camera 6 to prevent him from leaving.
What happens if I don't react in time?
If you fail to press E within 0.5 seconds when Epstein appears at the window, your night ends immediately and you must start over. The game requires constant vigilance and quick reflexes.
How does the audio lure system work?
You can play audio from cameras near enemy locations to lure them away. This is particularly effective for keeping enemies in back rooms (cam 8 or cam 11). However, using audio lures three times consecutively in the same location will cause cameras to break. When cameras break, you must go to the control panel to restart them. Note that audio lures don't affect Stephen Hawking.
What should I do when vents start banging?
When you hear banging sounds, Trump is attacking through vents in camera 1 or 2. Close the vents immediately to prevent the attack. After a few seconds, the banging will stop (meaning Trump has left). You must then reopen the vents quickly, as keeping them closed too long will cause you to die from lack of oxygen.
How do I deal with Stephen Hawking?
Stephen Hawking always stays at camera 6 and is not affected by audio lures. You must electrocute him periodically to prevent him from leaving his position. This is essential for survival and requires regular attention.
What is Custom Night mode?
Custom Night mode allows you to adjust difficulty settings and attempt various challenges. The ultimate challenge is 20/20/20/20 mode (formerly Ultimate Night). Completing this mode unlocks the secret ending and earns you a third completion star.
What happens when cameras break?
Cameras can break if you overuse audio lures (typically after 3 consecutive uses) or randomly. When cameras break, you'll see a "Camera Error" message. You must immediately head to the control panel to restart them, or you'll be unable to monitor enemy movements, which is extremely dangerous.
